Product & ingredients
What is Viraxe Deepwork?
Deepwork is a dietary supplement with 13 research-backed ingredients – formulated to support normal psychological function and reduce tiredness. It contains Bacopa monnieri, Soybean Extract (source of phosphatidylserine), Black Pepper Extract (BioPerine®), Citicoline, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, Panax Ginseng, Ginkgo biloba, Artichoke Extract, Inulin and vitamins B6, B9 and B12 at 250% NRV. One bottle holds 60 capsules – a full 30-day supply at 2 capsules per day. Manufactured in a GMP-certified EU facility in Slovakia.
What does each ingredient in Deepwork do?
Every one of the 13 ingredients is in there for a reason – picked based on published research, not marketing trends. Here's what each one does:
- Bacopa monnieri: A traditional Ayurvedic herb containing active compounds called bacosides. Multiple randomized controlled trials have looked at its effects on information processing and recall over 8–12 weeks.
- Soybean Extract (phosphatidylserine source): A phospholipid naturally found in cell membranes – particularly concentrated in the brain. Studied for its role in supporting cell membrane integrity and intercellular communication.
- Black Pepper Extract (BioPerine®): A patented extract standardized to 95% piperine. Published research shows piperine can increase the bioavailability of co-ingested nutrients by up to 30% – so your body absorbs more of everything.
- Citicoline: A precursor to phosphatidylcholine, one of the main building blocks of your brain cell membranes. One of the most-researched nootropic compounds out there.
- Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR): An amino acid derivative that crosses the blood-brain barrier and supports cellular energy metabolism.
- N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine (NALT): A more bioavailable form of L-Tyrosine – a precursor to dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. Studied in the context of stress and demanding mental tasks.
- Panax Ginseng: An adaptogenic herb used for centuries. Clinical research has examined its effects on mental fatigue and attention during demanding cognitive tasks.
- Ginkgo biloba: One of the oldest tree species on Earth. Studies have looked at its role in supporting cerebral blood flow and oxygen delivery.
- Artichoke Extract: Contains luteolin and other compounds studied for their antioxidant properties and potential role in PDE4 inhibition.
- Inulin: A prebiotic fibre that supports gut health. Emerging research on the gut-brain axis suggests microbiome health may influence overall wellbeing.
- Vitamins B6, B9 (Folate), B12: At 250% NRV. They contribute to normal psychological function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.¹
All dosages are listed 1:1 on the label – no proprietary blends, no hidden amounts.
Why citicoline and not choline bitartrate?
Citicoline (CDP-choline) is one of the most-researched forms of choline, with multiple double-blind human trials behind it. It efficiently crosses the blood-brain barrier and is converted to phosphatidylcholine in the body – one of the main building blocks of your brain cell membranes. Choline bitartrate is a cheaper alternative used in some products, but works less directly. We went with the form that has the clearest evidence in research – even though it costs more.
Why does Deepwork have so many ingredients?
Every ingredient was picked based on published research, not marketing trends. No fillers, no token doses to pad a label. Each one targets a different biological pathway: neurotransmitter precursors (Citicoline, NALT), adaptogens (Panax Ginseng, Bacopa), absorption (BioPerine®), micronutrients (B vitamins), and the gut-brain axis (Inulin). This multi-pathway approach is how serious nootropic formulations are designed.
Does Deepwork use proprietary blends?
No. Every single ingredient is listed with its exact amount on the label. Proprietary blends – where brands group multiple ingredients under one total weight without showing individual doses – are one of the worst practices in the supplement industry. They make it impossible to tell if an ingredient is present at a meaningful dose. With Viraxe, you know exactly what you're taking and how much. Full transparency, no exceptions.
What is BioPerine® and why is it in the formula?
BioPerine® is a patented black pepper extract standardized to a minimum of 95% piperine, manufactured by Sabinsa Corporation. It holds GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status. Research shows piperine improves nutrient absorption by inhibiting certain enzymes involved in metabolism and supporting thermogenesis. In practical terms: your body absorbs more of the other active ingredients in each capsule. Think of it as an efficiency multiplier for the whole formula.
Usage & dosage
How do I take Viraxe Deepwork?
Take 2 capsules daily with water, ideally in the morning with or shortly before a meal. The formula is designed for daily use as part of your routine.
Should I take Deepwork with food or on an empty stomach?
With food – or shortly before a meal. Several ingredients, especially the Soybean Extract (phosphatidylserine source) and Ginkgo biloba, are fat-soluble and absorb better alongside a meal that contains some dietary fat. Taking capsules with food also reduces the chance of stomach discomfort that some people can experience on an empty stomach.
When is the best time of day to take Deepwork?
Morning works best for most people. Taking Deepwork with breakfast builds a consistent routine and lets the ingredients work across the most demanding hours of your day. We don't recommend taking it late in the evening – some testers report it can affect their sleep.
Can I take just 1 capsule instead of 2?
The formula is dosed for a 2-capsule serving. Taking 1 capsule means you get half of every ingredient – which can reduce the intended effect. If you're sensitive to new supplements, you can start with 1 capsule for the first 3–5 days and then move up to the full 2-capsule serving.
Can I take more than 2 capsules per day?
The recommended daily dose of 2 capsules shouldn't be exceeded. The formula is dialled in specifically for this serving – every ingredient is dosed at the level we consider meaningful based on research. If you're looking for more effect, the lever isn't a higher dose, it's consistency: 2 capsules, every day, for at least 30 days.
Do I need to cycle Deepwork?
No. Deepwork contains no ingredients that require mandatory cycling (like Huperzine A, which some competitors use). The B vitamins, Citicoline, ALCAR and Soybean Extract are suitable for continuous daily use based on available research. Some users and practitioners still recommend periodic breaks – like 5 days on, 2 off, or 4 weeks on, 1 week off – to get a clearer read on how your body responds. Listen to your body.
What if I have trouble swallowing capsules?
The capsules are standard-sized and designed to be swallowed whole with water. Don't open, crush or dissolve them. If swallowing is difficult, try tilting your chin slightly downward (not backward) while taking a large sip of water. Taking them alongside a few bites of food can also help. If you consistently struggle with capsules of any kind, talk to your doctor.
For context: some competitors require 6–7 large capsules per serving. Deepwork uses just 2 standard-sized capsules per day. We intentionally designed the formula to deliver meaningful dosages in the fewest capsules possible.
How long should I take Deepwork before expecting results?
At least 30 consecutive days – that's our baseline for fairly evaluating your experience. The formula contains both fast-acting and slow-build ingredients. Some testers report subtle changes in the first few days – likely from ingredients like NALT and Panax Ginseng, where research describes acute effects. Other ingredients, especially Bacopa monnieri, have been studied over 8–12 weeks and build their effect over time. Most of our testers report the most meaningful changes after 6–8 weeks of consistent daily use.
Effects & expectations
What should I realistically expect from a nootropic supplement?
Here's the honest answer. Deepwork is a dietary supplement. Not a miracle pill, not a pharmaceutical. B vitamins B6, B9 and B12 contribute to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. On top of that: research-backed botanical extracts and amino acids. If you're expecting to suddenly work eight hours straight without a break – that's not going to happen. What our testers describe: cleaner daily energy, less afternoon slump, better concentration during longer work sessions. Individual, not universal.
What if I take nootropics and feel nothing?
Can happen. And it's a fair question. Nootropics work differently for every person. Your genetics, diet, sleep, stress, and baseline nutrient status all play into it. Our tip: full dose, 2 capsules daily, at least 30 days. Keep sleep and hydration consistent. If after 30 days you still notice nothing, the formula just might not fit your physiology. No supplement works for 100% of people. Anyone telling you otherwise is lying.
Can Deepwork help with ADHD, depression or other medical conditions?
Short and clear: No. Deepwork is a dietary supplement. It's not designed, intended or marketed to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition – including ADHD, depression, anxiety or dementia. If you have symptoms that point to a medical condition, talk to a doctor – not to us. This boundary matters to us, and it stays clear.
Can Deepwork replace coffee?
No. That was never the plan. Deepwork is caffeine-free and contains no stimulants. Many of our testers drink their coffee as usual and take Deepwork on top – the two don't clash. The B vitamins in the formula contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. For most testers, it works as a complement to coffee, not a replacement.
What happens if I stop taking Deepwork?
Nothing dramatic. Deepwork doesn't create dependency. No withdrawal, no crash. Because some ingredients – especially the B vitamins and Citicoline – support ongoing metabolic processes, any effects you felt during use can gradually fade after you stop. That's normal. That's how supplements work in general.
Can you build up a tolerance to Deepwork?
Based on current research: no. The ingredients in Deepwork, at the dosages used, aren't linked to tolerance development. That's exactly why we deliberately left out things like Huperzine A or high-dose caffeine – they can produce tolerance or require cycling.
Safety & side effects
Is Deepwork well tolerated?
Generally yes. Our testers describe Deepwork as well tolerated. As with any supplement, mild reactions can occur in rare cases – like slight stomach discomfort on an empty stomach or minor headaches in the first few days. Usually settles on its own. Our tip: take the capsules with food, keep sleep and hydration consistent. If you notice anything that persists or concerns you, stop taking it and talk to your doctor.
Does Deepwork contain caffeine?
No. Deepwork is 100% caffeine-free. No caffeine, no guarana, no yerba mate, no hidden stimulants. That was a deliberate choice: you decide if and when you want caffeine on top.
Can I take Deepwork with prescription medication?
Only after talking to your doctor. Some ingredients – particularly Ginkgo biloba, Panax Ginseng and Bacopa monnieri – can potentially interact with certain medications, including blood thinners, antidepressants, blood pressure or thyroid medication. We're not in a position to assess your individual situation. Your doctor or pharmacist is. Before taking Deepwork on top of any prescription medication, please talk to them.
Is Deepwork safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. We don't recommend taking Deepwork during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Some ingredients like Bacopa monnieri, Ginkgo biloba and Panax Ginseng haven't been sufficiently studied in these phases. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy, please skip Deepwork – or talk to your doctor or midwife first.
What is the minimum age to take Deepwork?
Deepwork is designed for adults aged 18 and over. It's not suitable for children or teens under 18, because the ingredients and dosages are calibrated to the metabolism and needs of adults.
Dietary & allergens
Is Deepwork vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free?
Yes, all three. Deepwork is 100% vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free. No animal-derived ingredients, no additives from gluten or dairy sources. The capsule shell is plant-based too. Suitable for vegans, people with coeliac disease and anyone with lactose intolerance.
Does Deepwork contain soy?
Yes. Deepwork contains Soybean Extract – a highly concentrated form of phospholipids from the soybean. If you have a soy allergy, Deepwork isn't for you. If you're mildly sensitive, check with your doctor first.
Quality & trust
Where is Viraxe Deepwork manufactured and is it certified?
Deepwork is produced in the EU at a GMP-certified facility in Slovakia. The formula was developed in Austria. GMP stands for "Good Manufacturing Practice" – that means regular audits, traceable production processes and clean documentation from raw material to finished capsule. We meet all EU requirements for food supplements.
On FDA/EFSA: the FDA is a US agency and not relevant to us as an EU brand. The EFSA doesn't certify individual products, but sets the permitted health claims – which we stick to strictly.
Is Viraxe Deepwork third-party tested?
Yes. Every batch is tested in an independent lab for purity, heavy metals and microbiological contamination before it's released. The ingredients come from audited suppliers with full certificates of analysis. That way we know – and you know – what's in it and what's not.
What sets Deepwork apart from other nootropics?
First: no caffeine. A lot of focus products on the market are basically caffeine pills in different packaging. Deepwork works through real nutrients – Citicoline, B-vitamins, Soybean Extract, Bacopa Monnieri, BioPerine® – without the artificial kick and without the afternoon crash.
Second: transparency. Every ingredient with full dosage on the label. No "proprietary blends" that hide what's actually in there and at what dose.
Third: EU production, EU standards. Developed in Austria, produced in Slovakia under GMP. You know where your product comes from.
On the research: for individual ingredients like Citicoline, Bacopa Monnieri or Phosphatidylserine there's published research on mental performance.
Ordering & shipping
Where do you ship to and how long does it take?
We currently ship to Austria, Germany, France and Italy. Delivery time usually 2-5 business days after dispatch. We don't ship to Switzerland at the moment.
What's your return and refund policy?
You have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order. Unopened products in original packaging can be returned within this period for a full refund. Opened products can't be returned for hygiene reasons – that's standard for food supplements.
If anything goes wrong with your order – damaged goods, wrong delivery – just get in touch. We'll sort it out directly.
Can I buy Viraxe Deepwork in stores or on Amazon?
No. Deepwork is currently available exclusively here on viraxe.com. No Amazon, no drugstore, no middlemen.
The reason: direct-to-consumer means shorter routes, better quality control and a fair price without retail margins in between. If you see Deepwork somewhere else – be careful. That's not us.
Lifestyle & compatibility
Can I take Deepwork with coffee?
Yes, absolutely. Deepwork contains no caffeine itself and is made exactly to work alongside your coffee. Coffee gives you the short-term wake-up effect, Deepwork supports the nutrient base for mental performance throughout the day.
Many testers just take their capsules with their morning coffee. Works well together.
Will Deepwork affect my sleep?
Generally no. Deepwork contains no caffeine and no stimulants. You can take the capsules in the afternoon without worrying about your sleep.
If you're particularly sensitive, you can keep your dose in the morning. But most people don't notice any effect on sleep.
Who is Deepwork for?
Basically for any adult 18+ who uses their brain in daily life – students during exam season, self-employed people with a full calendar, office workers who need to focus, people over 60 who want to actively support their mental fitness.
If you do intermittent fasting, Deepwork is compatible too: the capsules contain no relevant calories and don't break your fast. Taking them within your eating window is still better for tolerability.
Not suitable: pregnant or breastfeeding women, anyone under 18, people with a soy allergy, or if you take prescription medication – in that case, talk to your doctor first.
